Dan Chase has been on the run from the CIA, living out of the public eye. When a hitman shows up to take him down, the old agent finds he must now make peace with his past in order to protect his future. FBI agent Harold Harper is tasked with tracking down a villain on the run with a complicated past. Catching Chase proves harder than expected, and highly trained special operations officers are also sent in to search for him. On the run, Chase rents a room from Zoe MacDonald, who is drawing on savings she never knew she would have to survive the day she learns the truth about her new tenant.
